Marea takes its name from the tide.

Hand-dyed using traditional vegetable dyes, the silk georgette moves from soft cream to marine blue in an ombré inspired by the meeting of sea and sky. As the light changes throughout the day, so too does the depth of colour across the silk.

Designed as a long, open-front duster, Marea can be worn over swimwear, layered with silk or linen, or draped lightly over the shoulders as the evening cools. The accompanying silk waist tie is finished with the embroidered Del Mar monogram, a quiet signature carried throughout the collection.

Part of the Mujeres del Sol collection, Marea is made in small quantities and created to be worn, travelled with and treasured for years to come.

Each Marea Silk Duster is cut from 100% silk georgette and hand-dyed using traditional vegetable dyes to create its distinctive ombré, moving from soft cream through to marine blue.

Every piece is completed with French seams and individually finished in small quantities. The accompanying silk waist tie is embroidered with the Del Mar monogram.

Designed with a relaxed, open-front silhouette, Marea drapes softly over the body without structure or restriction.

Wear it open over swimwear, layered with silk separates or gently cinched at the waist with the accompanying silk belt for a more defined silhouette.

As each piece is individually crafted, measurements may vary by approximately 1–2 cm.

To preserve the beauty of your silk georgette and hand-finished embroidery, we recommend gentle dry cleaning only.

Store away from direct sunlight and avoid prolonged contact with water, perfumes or oils. When not being worn, hang or fold carefully to maintain the natural drape of the silk.

We ship all orders from our Western Australian studio. Please allow 1–2 business days for your order to be processed.

Domestic (Australia): 2–6 business days
International: 7–14 business days

Returns

We want you to love your Del Mar piece. If your item is faulty, you may request a refund within 14 days of receipt. Returns are only accepted for unworn, unused items in original packaging with tags attached. For all other enquiries, please contact us at hello@delmarresort.com.au.
